Lake Travis Combat Challenge Team

Team Lake Travis

The Combat Challenge competition is a physically demanding course based on various duties that may be performed on the fire ground. The Lake Travis Combat Challenge team, formerly known as the Hudson Bend Combat Challenge team,  competes at various sites across America.  Our relay team has qualified for the world event for the past six years.  Our newest member, Levon Steele recieved the 2007 Scott Fire fighter Combat Challenge Rookie of the Year.  We recently placed  Second in the Team and Relay events in Tyler,  Third in Team and Second in Relay  in Carlsbad, NM and Altus,OK.  2008 was the first year that we have two teams qualify for the world challenge in Las Vegas.  Our goal is to remain competitive with other fire departments on a national level in the individual events and as a relay team.  Any operational personnel are welcome to compete for a position on the team. We are constantly looking for a great sponsor and accepting donations to help cover the teams travel expenses, see our sponsorship packet if you are interested.
